Council Tax is collected to help pay for local services. Each household within the Tendring District is assigned to a banding and your bill is based upon the assumption that there are two adults living there. If you are the only adult living in a property you will qualify for a discount of 25%, but other discounts are available for those with special circumstances.
Important changes to Council Tax Discounts
and Exemptions from April 2013
