For many families, soaring energy prices can often mean having to decide between buying food or heating their home during the winter.

In Tendring in Essex, 16% of families live in fuel poverty meaning they spend more than 10% of their income on energy to keep warm.

1 in 5 children live in poverty and Tendring has the highest unemployment rate in Essex.

A new pop-up shop opened on Monday 2 December in Clacton that's giving away free winter clothing to those most in need.
