Data stored and transmitted to the Council is certified completely secure, confidential and your details will not be used for any other purpose. If you have not paid this way before you may wish to read the notes section below. You will find that both payment methods guide you through the processes.

DEBIT CARDS - Visa Debit or Maestro/Switch

Notes

• Please make sure you have the bills/parking ticket you want to pay, and your credit or debit card to hand as you will need to provide information e.g. your account number for a Council Tax payment.
• These systems are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  If you are in a public place when making an online or automated telephone payment we strongly advise you to make sure you are not overlooked as you enter your details to prevent them from being misused by somebody else.
• Please note that there is a charge for credit card payment of Council Tax, Non Domestic Rates and Council House Rents to cover the associated costs - you will be told how much it is BEFORE you complete your payment. You can then decide if you want to continue. There is no longer a charge for debit card payments.
• When making a payment using the automated telephone payment method you will be given a receipt number to confirm that your payment has been made. Please keep a record of this number as it may help you if you have a query at a later date.
• When making a payment using the online payment method you will be given the option to print a receipt or have one e-mailed which we recommend you keep (as above)
