TDC Parking News aims to keep you updated on all the current developments relating to car parks, road closures, residential schemes and any changes in legislation which may affect the way we operate.

CAR PARKS

August 2006 saw the introduction of charging to Oyster Tank Road and Western Promenade Grass car parks. TDC operate these two car parks under licence from Brightlingsea Town Council. In November 2006 charging began at Hazlemere Road, Brighton Road, York Road car parks in Holland on Sea and the Seafront Bays East Holland on Sea. In April 2008 charging began in Victoria Place Brightlingsea and Elm Grove Car Park in Great Clacton.

ROAD CLOSURES

We are responsible for temporary road closures under the Town Police Clauses Act 1847 Section 21. For more information about organising a road closure please call parking services on 01255 686969 or e-mail at parkingservices@tendringdc.gov.uk .
