Free Parking!
Until the end of March 2012, there are five town centre car
parks which are free from 2pm:
- High Street, Clacton;
- High Street, Walton;
- Milton Road, Dovercourt;
- Jaywick Beach, Jaywick
- Wellington Road, Harwich.
All the other 22 pay and display car parks will be free from 3pm
from Monday 21 November until end of March 2012.
Ipswich Road in Holland-on-Sea and Elm Grove in Great Clacton,
are 2 of the 13 sites which are free all day.
On and Off street parking will change from 1st April
2011.
As of the 1st April 2011 Tendring District Council no longer
deal with the on street enforcement. This function has been taken
over by Colchester Borough Council under a new North Essex Parking
Partnership.

CASHLESS PARKING COMES TO TENDRING
From Monday 5th July 2010 customers at Tendring District Council
car parks have been able to pay for their parking via their mobile
phone using their credit/debit card.

We are responsible for temporary road closures under the Town
Police Clauses Act 1847 Section 21. For more information about
