current developments relating to car parks, road closures,
residential schemes and any changes in legislation which may affect
the way we operate.
PARKING IN FRONT OF DROPPED FOOTWAYS/KERBS
Penalty charge notices can be issued if you park in front of a
dropped kerb. These type of kerbs are put in place to aid
pedestrians in crossing the street or to allow vehicular access to
properties.
If you experience difficulties from vehicles parking across your
dropped kerb you can contact Parking Services on 01255 686969
Monday to Thursday 08.45 to 17.15 and Friday 08.45 to 16.45.
Outside of these hours please call the Councils contact centre on
01255 222727. The operator will take details and we will endeavour
to dispatch an Officer as soon as possible to assess the
situation.
Please note that we will only respond to complaints regarding
blocked access (dropped kerbs) from the HOMEOWNER.
