Street lighting which is situated on Public Highway land is the responsibility of Essex County Council. To report a fault on any such lighting please contact Essex County Council's 24 hour fault reporting line 0845 603 7620 or contact the East Area Highways office by phone on 01206 838600 or by email to highways.eastarea@essex.gov.uk.

If you are unsure whether the lighting you wish to make a report on is situated on Public Highway or not you can check our list of Private Street Lighting maintained by Tendring District Council. Any faults on units not listed here should be reported to Essex County Council.
