If something does go wrong and you need to contact one of these services, please remember that you will get a quicker response if you go to the right service first time.

You should only dial 999 if you require Police, Fire, Ambulance or Coastguard, and then only if you wish to report an immediate threat to life or property or if you suspect a crime, otherwise use the following numbers.

Doctor and Dentist

If your normal surgery is closed your call will be transferred, or you will be given another number to call to reach someone standing in for your GP or Dentist.
