Welcome to the Policing and Public Safety area of the website. The Council works with the Police and other bodies as part of the Tendring Community Safety Partnership.

The Community Safety Partnership want to know what your priorities are for reducing crime and disorder in your local area. This simple questionnaire gives you the opportunity to have your say. You will also have a chance to win a £50 Marks and Spencers voucher.

However, the Council does not directly deliver policing and public safety services - these are provided by Essex Police.

We do have an Emergency Planning section that makes sure the Council would be ready to act in an emergency.
