Welcome to the Policing and Public Safety area of the website. The Council works with the Police and other bodies as part of the Tendring Crime & Disorder Reduction Partnership. However, the Council does not directly deliver policing and public safety services - these are provided by Essex Police.

We do have an Emergency Planning section that makes sure the Council would be ready to act in an emergency.
