sports facilities.
Customer Care and Feedback
We are dedicated in providing high levels of service, creating a
safe, fun and relaxed environment for you to enjoy during your
visit. We welcome your feedback and operate a customer comment card
system at all the facilities. Please complete a card with any views
or comments that you may have and leave it in the box provided.
Child Protection
Tendring District Council is committed to promote the welfare,
health and full development of children. We aim to protect them
from harm of all kinds, whilst recognising that they have rights as
individuals and should be treated with dignity and respect. We will
do this by making sure all staff and volunteers are carefully
selected, trained and supervised.
All private hirers of the sports facilities with young people
under 16 years of age will be required to provide a copy of their
child protection policy. Copies of coaching qualifications will
also be required as will confirmation that nominated child
protection officers have attended a recognised child protection
course.
Photography
We operate a policy that prevents the use of personal cameras,
video recorders or mobile photo imaging within any of the sports
facilities unless prior authorisation is obtained from the Facility
Manager and providing a declaration form is completed and
signed.
Where there is a possibility of other children being in the same
photo / video permission must be obtained from the other child /
children's parents / carers before taking the picture / video.
Professional photographers / filming / video operators wishing
to record an event or activity should do so by prior arrangement
with the Facility Manager and by producing their professional
qualifications for the details to be recorded. Ideally they should
request this at least five working days before the event.
There is no intention to prevent club coaches and teachers using
video equipment as a legitimate coaching aid. However, the Facility
Manager should be informed and permission sought by the performers
and parents / carers before videoing.
Lockers and Personal Belongings
All lockers are operated on a coin return basis. Please do not
leave personal belongings unattended as Tendring District Council
cannot be held responsible for any item lost or
damaged. |
