Booking Conditions
PARTY NUMBERS
The maximum number permitted
for any party is 20 children. Our lounge area cannot accommodate
above this number under Health & Safety Regulations.
COLLECTION OF CHILDREN
Children must be collected at the party finish time which is 20
minutes past the hour. Staff are not responsible for any children
who are still on the premises after the party finish time.
FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY
Please note that
unfortunately flash photography is not permitted if squash courts
are in use. However, you are welcome to take children outside onto
the grassed area at the rear of the lounge. Please be aware
however, for child protection issues that permission from parents
of all children in photos must be sought before taking any
photos.
USE OF THE LOUNGE AREA
The lounge may be used for party refreshments only and not for
party games. The consumption of food and drink is not allowed in
the hall or lobby areas. No hot convenience foods are
permitted.
STAFF
All staff are child protection trained, first aid trained and CRB
checked by Tendring District Council.
HOW TO MAKE A BOOKING
Please come along to
the Centre and pick up a Party Booking Form. Parties must be fully
paid a minimum of a week prior to the party booking or it will be
assumed the party is not going ahead.
OPTION 1 - SATURDAYS ONLY - £40.00
3pm Party or 4pm Party (subject to availability)
Organise your own activity in the Hall for one hour plus use of
our lounge for your own party food for 20 minutes. No hot food
allowed. Hire of regular sports equipment e.g. indoor football,
badminton rackets etc. is available at normal hire rates. You are
responsible for the supervision of children at all times whilst
party is taking place. Party not to exceed 16 children.
OPTION 2 - SUNDAYS ONLY - £80.00
2pm Party or 3pm Party (subject to availability)
Sports Centre staff organise and supervise activities in the
hall for one hour plus use of our lounge for your own party food
for a further 20 minutes. No hot food allowed. The lounge area is
decorated with birthday banners and balloons, welcome signs on
entry doors and a Birthday Certificate for the birthday child. The
host organiser must remain on the premises for the duration of the
party.
OPTION 3 - SUNDAYS ONLY - £90.00
Bouncy Castle and Softplay Option for the under 1.2m in height
people
2pm Party or 3pm Party (subject to availability)
This option is available for the younger children who are under
1.2m in height. Sports Centre staff supervise the bouncy castle and
softplay equipment for one hour plus 20 minutes in the lounge for
your own party food. No hot food allowed. Other suitable sports
equipment is set out in the hall where children have plenty of room
to play and run. Adults are not permitted on the castle but are
free to play with children in the hall at all times. The bouncy
castle is PIPA registered and meets all Health & Safety
regulations. The lounge area is decorated with birthday banners,
balloons, door entry signs and a Birthday Certificate for the
birthday child. The host organiser must remain on the premises for
the duration of the party.
OPTION 4 - SUNDAYS ONLY - £90.00
Roller Skating Party for ages 5 years and above. 2pm Party or 3pm
Party (subject to availability)
Avaliable for up to 16-20 children. Skates and music are
provided. The host organiser must remain on the premises for the
duration of the party. We supervise activities in the hall for in
the hall for one hour plus use of our lounge for your own party
food for a further 20 minutes. No hot food allowed. The lounge area
is decorated with balloons etc. and a certificate is issued to the
birthday child. |
