Grass Cutting

We have a routine programme for cutting grass. The grass cutting regime is a cut & let fly operation with the clippings left on the surface of the grassed areas with the exception of formal garden areas & sheltered accommodation which is a cut & collect operation.

Highway Verges and hedgerows

These are cut by Tendring District Council on behalf of Essex County Council. A planned programme of work takes place throughout the year regarding hedgerows.

Other maintenance

We also carry out maintenance such as shrub pruning, weeding and hedge cutting on Council owned land and public areas. A planned programme of work takes place throughout the year. Twice a year over 100,000 bedding plants are planted throughout the district.
