Tendring has beautiful countryside, rural areas and villages to explore.

There are a number of ways to find out about where you can walk in the area:

Some suggested walks that you might like to try in the Tendring district are detailed below.

Alresford 3 miles (1.5 hours)
Alresford 3 miles (2 hours)
Alresford/Frating 4 miles (2 hours)
Ardleigh 4 miles (2 hours)
Brightlingsea 6 miles (3 hours)
Elmstead Market 3 miles (1.5 hours)
Elmstead Market 4 or 6 miles (2 or 3 hours)
Kirby-le-Soken 3 or 5 miles (2 or 3 hours)
Great Oakley Walk 2 or 4 miles (1 or 2 hours)
St Osyth 2 miles (1 hour)
Walton on the Naze 2 and 5 miles (1 or 3 hours)
Wix 4 miles (2 hours)

However, please check the Essex County Council website detailed above before embarking on any of these suggested walks just in case there are any accessibility issues etc.
