Tendring District Council in partnership with Essex County Council Arts Development Team are joining with other partners to create a fantastic outdoor celebration to welcome the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games in style.

Sparks Will Fly will consist of objects, which will remain a surprise for the audience until nearer the time, travelling through Essex visiting local events, towns and villages. The objects will then converge on Hylands Park for a spectacular pyrotechnic extravaganza and community carnival on Friday 6th July. To make this event a success, we welcome input from local artists, musicians and creative minds.
