The Local Land Charges Section carries out Official Local
Authority Searches covered by the Local Land Charges Act 1975.
These searches guarantee comprehensive replies to the official
LLC1, CON29R and CON29O enquiries. |
How to Submit a Search
Application
Your search application
needs to be accompanied by 2 copies of an up to date extract
from the Ordnance Survey. We are able to accept applications
in a number of ways; via post, DX, email and through 2
electronic search providers. Details for each option can be
found
HERE . Our aim is to return your completed search within 5
working days of the date of
acceptance.
Fees
The scale of fees for a
Local Authority Search can be obtained

Cancellation of
Searches
Searches can only be
cancelled, and your fee returned, if the Local Land Charges
Office is notified before the search is accepted.
Inspection of
the Land Charges Register under
EIR
Any member of the
public can make a free inspection of the information held on
the Local Land Charges Register. Please click
