| Homelessness from Rented
Accommodation |

Private
rented accommodation is often the only housing option for many
people. What rights a tenant has can often vary according to many
factors.
If you are
asked to leave a private rented property, it is important that you
get advice on your rights before deciding on your next course of
action. As housing has been subject to regulation for many years,
these pages can only give a brief guide on your rights and
options.
If you have
been asked to leave your accommodation, you can ask to see a
Homelessness Officer by telephoning 01255 866438, 686445 or 686444.
Alternatively, you can e-mail Housing Services for advice on
housing.services@tendringdc.gov.uk.
