| What happens if the council has no duty
to assist me with accommodation? |
|
If the
Council has no duty to assist you with accommodation, it still has
to provide you with advice and assistance to make your own
arrangements. If you are intentionally homeless, the Council must
give you a short period in temporary accommodation to allow you
time to make your own arrangements. If you are intentionally
homeless and have dependent children, the Council will have to
contact social services about your
situation. |
