| If I apply to the council as homeless or
threatened with homelessness, how will my application be
considered? |
|
If a
local authority has reason to believe that you are homeless or
threatened with homelessness, it must make enquiries to determine
if it owes you any duty to provide accommodation. The Council aims
to complete its enquiries within 33 working days of the application
being made. Once the Council reaches a decision, you have to be
informed of its decision in
writing. |
