Our Under-occupation transfer incentive scheme (pdf document) can help tenants who want to transfer into a smaller property by giving them a grant of up to £1,000 to help with removal and other connected expenses.

To be eligible for this scheme, tenants must currently live in a property with three or more bedrooms and be looking to transfer to a smaller council owned property within the Tendring District.
