All properties that have a gas heating system that was installed by us will have this serviced each year, in accordance with the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations.

As well as servicing our gas appliances, we also have a legal duty to carry out regular inspections of any gas pipework in those properties that are not covered by our servicing contracts.

This safety check will include an inspection of any gas appliances that the tenant has had installed. As tenants are responsible for the servicing and maintenance of any gas appliances they have paid to install, they will also be responsible for repairing any faults that are found on these during this gas safety check.
