Surveys help us to gain information about a range of
issues by asking a series of structured questions in face-to-face
interviews, telephone interviews or through a postal questionnaire.
We are required to carry out a comprehensive
tenant satisfaction survey of all our tenants every two years.
At the time of our last survey in 2006, 87% of those responding
said that they were either very or fairly satisfied with the
service we provide as their landlord - an increase of 1% since we
last carried out this survey in 2003. Customer satisfaction surveys
are also sent to all tenants and leaseholders whose properties have
had a day-to-day repair or planned maintenance or improvement work
carried out to their property. In 2007/08, 97% of those returning a
survey were very or fairly satisfied with the repair we had carried
out and 94% were very or fairly satisfied with our planned
maintenance or improvement works. We carry out other surveys
whenever they are needed.

The star rating indicates the level of involvement
required, with one star being the lowest and three stars being the
