| What size of accommodation will I be
offered? |

Applicants will be made an offer to meet their needs in
terms of size and location. When you fill in your application form,
you will be able to choose the areas where you want to live. As a
guide applicants will be considered for the following size of
accommodation.
Size of family - Size of accommodation

Single persons - Bedsit / One bedroom

Couples - One bedroom

Single parent with a child aged under two - One
bedroom

Single parent with a child aged over two - Two
bedrooms

Couples with one child - Two bedrooms

Couples / single parents with two children of the
same sex where the eldest child is under 14 years of age - Two
bedrooms

Couples / single parents with two children of
opposite sexes where the eldest child is over 8 years of age -
Three bedrooms
-
Couples /single parents with three children -
Three bedrooms
-
Couples / single parents with four children -
Three / four bedrooms (depending on ages and sexes of the
children)

Couples / single parents with five or more
children - Four bedrooms
People can only be considered for an extra bedroom
if it is essential on medical
grounds. |
