Where
residents are unwilling or unable to provide evidence or are
worried about attending court, it may be necessary for us to use
professional witnesses. These are private individuals who provide
investigatory services and are able to give evidence in court about
incidents or behaviour they have witnessed. Professional witnesses
do not have to have been subjected to anti social behaviour and
their use can reduce the need for victims to give evidence
themselves. |
