Description
Tendring District Council is responsible for repairs to communal
areas in blocks of flats including stairs, door entry systems,
communal lighting, landings, communal windows, courtyards and
sheds. As stated in your tenancy agreement, you are responsible for
reporting any repairs that are necessary in any shared area. You
can report a repair to us in the following ways:
- on-line;
- by e-mailing as below;
- by letter or by returning one of the prepaid repairs cards that
we send out in April each year;
- by telephoning the Housing Maintenance Section on the numbers
below;
- by calling into Housing Reception at the Town Hall or any of
our area offices; or
- by faxing 01255 686406
all working hours only.
To report
emergency repairs, outside of working hours, please telephone
(01255) 222022.
