Description
Soon after your tenancy starts, we will send you a rent card
that states your tenancy reference number and how much rent you
have to pay. You should have this card with you each time you pay
your rent in person so that we can record your payment. If you do
not have your rent card with you, we will give you a receipt and
update your rent card next time you pay.
Your rent is due each Monday for the week ahead and is payable
every fortnight in any one of the following ways:
- Secure Online Internet Payments as below;
- Automated telephone Payments 0870 2420685 as below;
- Direct from your bank by standing order or direct debit;
- By sending a cheque or postal order, together with your rent

cash offices;
- In person by cash, cheque or postal order at any one of the
Council's cash offices;
- Doorstep collection (in some areas only);
- Wage or salary deductions, if you work for the
Council.
If you are unemployed or on a low income, you may be able to get
