Description
Under the Best Value regime, all councils had to review all of
the services they provide and look to improve these by the best
means possible.
The best value review of Housing Services took place in 2002/3.
As part of this we had to look at the reasons why we provide
particular services in the way that we do, consult with our
customers and compare our performance with that of other
organisations that provide housing services.
This information helped us to draw up an improvement plan which
identified what we needed to do to improve our services.
