Description
Anti social behaviour takes many forms and its effects can be
very damaging on both individuals and communities. The council
takes complaints of anti social behaviour very seriously and will
take action against those responsible for it.
We revised our existing Anti Social Behaviour Strategy in 2006.
It is the aim of this strategy to build upon the substantial work
and measures already introduced by Housing Services to tackle anti
social behaviour. To achieve this, the tried and tested powers and
measures available to social landlords remain at the core of our
strategy.
The strategy also seeks to agree with tenants and other
stakeholders a framework of new measures that have been introduced
by legislation or that have been identified as good practice.
