Welcome to the Housing Section of
the Council's Website.
From the menu on the left you can access
information specifically for you whether you are a Council tenant,
Housing Association tenant, private tenant or homeowner.
Housing related services are provided by the
following departments in the Council.
Housing Services are responsible
for the management and maintenance of the
Council
housing stock , as well as
homelessness and housing
advice.
NB: This reporting a repair service is for
Council tenants and leaseholders only
Environmental Services are
responsible for unfit houses and those in multiple occupation, as
well as grants / loans for repairs or adaptations to
private
sector housing. They are also responsible
for
waste management and
street sweeping.
Benefits, Revenues and Cashiers
are responsible for the administration of
Housing
Benefit.
Community Services are
responsible for providing the
Careline
Service and Scheme Managers in the
Council's sheltered
housing.
Leisure Services are responsible
for supervising the
maintenance of all
open spaces within the district, which includes parks,
recreation grounds, cemeteries and crematorium, roadside verges as
well as council housing
areas. |
