Tendring Careline is a 24 hour service providing response at the touch of a button. The service provides a personal security system that enables people to live independently within their own homes and can be used at any time of the day or night, 365 days a year.

Special parking badges are also available for disabled people. These were previously called orange badges, but are now known as blue badges.
