Care in your home is offered to people who require
assistance with personal care such as washing or dressing, or other
practical daily tasks such as help with domestic chores like
cooking and cleaning, or in some instances, help in managing
finances.
Essex County Council's Occupational Therapy services may
be able to advise you on how to do things differently to make
things easier for you to live at home. Essex County Council may be
able to lend equipment or provide minor adaptations such as grab
rails in your home. They can give advice and make recommendations
to this Council for major adaptations to your property such as a
stairlift. They may also be able to put you in contact with
organisations about access to employment, social or leisure
