Calling for help at the touch of a
button
Tendring Careline is a 24 hour service providing response at the
touch of a button. The service provides a personal security system
that enables people to live independently within their own homes
and can be used at any time of the day or night, 365 days a
year.
Personal protection at the touch of a button
The home unit can be used to raise an alarm call from anywhere
in the home by simply pressing the radio trigger or the large
illuminated red button on the unit. Calls are received at the
dedicated 24 hour control centre, where the appropriate action can
be taken.
How does it work?
When the home unit is activated, your details are sent to the 24
hour control centre, showing how the call was initiated, for
example from your personal trigger.
The home unit has a powerful loudspeaker and sensitive
microphone, allowing hands free two-way speech to be established
between you and the Careline operator.
How is the personal protection delivered?
Perhaps the most important part of the solution is the team of
highly trained dedicated caring operators at the 24 hour control
centre, providing constant service round the clock whenever you
need it.
