Not everyone but far more people than you may think. Single people as well as married couples can adopt or foster. Applicants wishing to be approved as adopters or foster carers will be considered irrespective of age, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation or disability. However, applicants must be in reasonably good health.
