| Household Recycling Centres - why do the centres have
height barriers? |
|
All centres have height barriers at the entrances set at
1.95 metres to prevent trade vehicles using the facilities. This
height will allow 4 x 4 and people carriers to enter the sites. The
barriers are opened for oversized vehicles carrying resident's own
household waste from 12 noon every Sunday. At other times unloading
facilities are available including the use of a wheelbarrow on
request.
