If you have items of furniture or electrical goods in a good
state of repair then Tendring Reuse and Employment Enterprise
(TREE) may be able to collect them from you free of charge. The
item will be cleaned and tested for safety and sold at low cost to
raise funds that support people with learning difficulties training
for work. For more details visit the

The Tendring Furniture Scheme also operates a service to collect
donated furniture items and pass them on to people on a very low
income. For more information telephone them on 01255 476068.
However if your item is not suitable for reuse, the Council's
contractors Veolia Environmental Services, provide a chargeable
service. They can remove most bulky household items such as beds,
chairs, carpets and also white goods e.g. washing machines, fridges
and freezers.

be taken to your local
