Our Planning Committee - (dates and details) meets every four weeks to be advised of current appeals, to make decisions about planning enforcement issues and determine those applications outside the scope of officers' delegated powers, those of a contentious nature and those in which either a council member or an officer has an interest.

Everyone is welcome to attend the Planning Committee. The agenda is available a week prior to the meeting. Any additional information received during that week leading up to the meeting is presented on our update sheet and is available here by 4.30pm on the day of the meeting. If you have an interest in an application it is worth checking to see if there is any additional information important to you.

We allow public speaking at our planning meetings. Please see our Public Speaking Scheme page for further information. If you wish to speak at the meeting please contact our Democratic Services officer on 01255 686585 by no later than 4.00 pm on the day of the meeting or, if you arrive early for the meeting in the Council Chamber by 5.00 pm, you can make your wish known to a Council officer.
