Planning Applications and Appeals


The WEEKLY LISTS OF PLANNING APPLICATIONS RECEIVED AND DETERMINED contain details of all valid applications received during the previous week and also the decisions made (the most recent eight weeks are shown). These reports list planning applications and include details relating to the nature and location of each planning application proposal, the decisions will show conditions and reasons for refusal.

PLANNING APPEAL DETAILS CAN BE FOUND HERE

If you wish to see any particular planning application in more detail, including plans and drawings, these may be viewed at the Council Offices, Thorpe Road, Weeley. If you wish to make use of this facility you can call at the offices between the hours of 9am and 5pm Monday to Thursday or between 9am and 4.30pm on Fridays (except on Bank Holidays and during the Christmas closure period). Please bring along with you the planning application number that you will find in the left-hand column of the report. The reception desk tends to be very busy on Monday mornings and whilst you are welcome at any time between the above hours, for your convenience, it is advisable to avoid this period.

Written representations can be made relating to any planning application, subject to certain timescales and you can do this by writing to the Head of Regeneration, Planning and Community Services, Council Offices, Thorpe Road, Weeley CO16 9AJ, by direct submission via our Public Access page, or by e-mail to planning.services@tendringdc.gov.uk Please quote the planning application number on all correspondence.
