Planning Aid England provides free, independent and professional
planning advice to communities and individuals who cannot afford to
pay professional fees. It helps those people who for whatever
reason are unable to use professional private sector planning or
specialist consultants.
They have qualified and independent Planning Advisors at the end
of the telephone in each English region. They are on hand to give
callers 15 minutes of free planning advice over the
telephone.
Initial help may include advice, directing you to other
organisations or providing a list of planning consultants. Each
enquiry is dealt with on its merits and we will ask a series of
questions to determine eligibility.
If your case is complicated and cannot be dealt with by the
Planning Advisor on the phone, and you are eligible for further
help they will pass your case on to one of our national network of
volunteers. More detailed help will only be provided to individuals
and groups that meet our eligibility criteria. You can find out if
you're eligible by visiting:

planning system call our Planning Advisor on 0870 850 9801 or email

Policy Statements can be downloaded free of charge from

Planning Aid is acting independently of the government but
is:

explaining why it is important to get involved
- Offering the public independent advice on having their say
- Helping direct members of the public to relevant sources of
