Emerging Local Planning Policy (Local Development Framework)

In 2004, the planning system was radically changed and resulted in the replacement of old style Local Plans with a folder of documents called the Local Development Framework (or LDF for short). The Local Development Framework will outline the future planning strategy for Tendring, showing where new homes and jobs will be located and setting out more detailed policies and proposals to guide new development for the next twenty years.

The Local Development Framework will be comprised of the following documents (click on each option for more detail about each document).
