Welcome to the webpage of Tendring District Council's Planning Policy Team

We are responsible for preparing the Council's statutory development plan, which contains policies and guidance used in the determination of planning applications. Current planning policy is contained in the Adopted Local Plan. We are currently working on preparing its replacement - the Local Development Framework (LDF) - which will guide new development for the district up to 2031.
