The Heritage & Conservation Team covers Historic,
Built & Natural Environment including:
The Tendring District Adopted Local Plan seeks to conserve
natural resources and to protect the historic environment.
Particular attention is therefore given to conservation matters
when assessing planning applications.
The main concerns are with the best natural features in the
District, which includes the coast, estuaries, open countryside,
and important wildlife habitats and also the rich heritage of
historic buildings and Conservation Areas found throughout the
District. |
