Tendring District Council's Environmental Services are currently offering free a service to members of the public, living in the Tendring district, who can have an unwanted car scrapped through our Contractor. The Contractor will collect the car from your property or other agreed address within the district and dispose of it.

If you would like your vehicle removed and disposed of then please complete the Online Free Owners Request for the Removal and Disposal of Vehicle Form which can be completed and submitted online.

N.B. We cannot process your application until we are in receipt of a signed copy of the form along with the V5C document (Section 8 signed) which needs to be returned to the address shown at the bottom of this page.

We can also arrange removal of an unwanted caravan, boat or trailer for a charge of £17.63 (including VAT). If you would like to arrange this please complete an Owners Request for the Removal and Disposal of Vehicle Form (pdf version) . Please print a copy, complete, sign and return to the address shown at the bottom of this page.
