We need your views!
Tendring District Council (TDC) is working with its partners and
Essex County Council to find out residents' views on public
services across the area.
Postal questionnaires will be sent to 2,900 randomly selected
households across the District at the end of September 2008.
The questionnaires will ask about residents' satisfaction with
public services in their local area.
It will ask about residents' perceptions and views on issues
that affect their quality of life, such as Community Safety.
The results will be used to measure how well public service
activities in the local area have resulted in healthier, happier
and safer residents.
It will be used to build a better understanding of the area and
its people and the results will be publicly available from April
2009 onwards.
Cllr Michael Dew, Portfolio Holder for Corporate Governance and
Resources at TDC, asked residents not to ignore the survey - and
take part.
"Anyone who receives one of these questionnaires is urged to
fill it in so the Council and its partners can find out what
Tendring residents really think," he added.
Tendring has worked together with the other Essex Councils in
providing this survey in order to keep costs to a minimum - and
allow comparisons of results across the County.
BMG Research will be carrying out the survey on behalf of the
Council. |
