Recruiting new talent

The hunt is on for inspirational professionals who relish a challenge and want to make a real difference by delivering schemes and developing exciting new projects.

These professionals are seen as the key to the success of Tendring District Council's new regeneration Company, INTend.

'With that in mind we are commencing a recruitment drive today for six specialists to help us," said David Lines, Chairman of the Company.

"The Board wants to get on with the tasks in hand and these people will be the core of our delivery team."

Mr Lines said the company fully recognised that major projects require specialist and focused skills that a Council is not able to provide.

"This signals the start of the real work of the Company and once in place I'm confident the district will see a real step change in the delivery of change," he added.

Posts being recruited include project managers, specialist planning and legal support as well as an external funding officer.

Apart from advertising in the traditional publications and press the jobs are also featured on the Company website, www.in-tend.org, which is being launched today.

"The website will be one of the main ways the Company will communicate with residents of the District, as well as with potential investors and developers," said Mr Lines.

"It will keep people up to speed with the projects being undertaken and new proposals as they are developed."
