Residents in Tendring have benefited from improved
services and a better quality of life - thanks to the outstanding
work of two local groups.
Walton Forum has worked with many other agencies to provide a
facility for all ages and to retain economic services within the
town.
And Harwich Connexions has worked with partners to ensure that
economic, social and transport services are available to all
residents at convenient locations.
Now their outstanding efforts have been recognised by the
Tendring Local Strategic Partnership (LSP).
They have both been presented with certificates by David Lines,
Chairman of Tendring LSP, to mark their contributions towards
effective collaboration within the local community.
"Their excellent work has benefited so many people in these two
areas of the District," said Mr Lines.
"Both award winners have demonstrated that personal contact and
local solutions are effective in tackling key issues.
"It highlights the fact that working together in partnership
will bring about a thriving and prosperous economy and improved
quality of life."
