Open Spaces - Still Time To Give Us Your Views

The Council has been working with environmental consultancy The Landscape Partnership to ask the community what they like - and don't like - about their local green spaces.

And it's not too late for you to have your say on this important issue as the deadline has now been extended!

The consultation has already been running for a couple of weeks on this website but the closing date has been extended to November 21.

So there is still time to use the on-line questionnaire to help shape the future of open space across your district.

This initiative is all part of the Council's forward planning for the next 15 years or so.

All you have to do to give your comments is go to the online questionnaire

There are three links: one for children of primary-school age, one for young people and one for adults.

All the responses will be collated and analysed and feed into the Tendring Open Spaces Strategy in 2009.

If you have any queries about the Open Spaces consultation, please contact Tricia Foreman, Planning Officer on 01255 686153 or Malcolm Inkster, TDC's Development Plan Manager, on 01255 686158.
