MORE FOR LESS WITH THE SPECIAL ONE FOR LEISURE

A new ONE Card has been launched by Tendring District Council (TDC) to provide the key to enjoying the best of what's on offer at its leisure facilities across the district.

The card opens up the most straight forward route to health and fitness to members - offering both big benefits and savings.

It is valid for facilities at Clacton Leisure Centre - including the new Lifestyles health and fitness development - Frinton and Walton Swimming Pool, Dovercourt Swimming Pool, Brightlingsea Sports Centre and Brightlingsea Pool, Harwich Sports Centre, Manningtree Sports Centre, Happy Valley Recreation Ground and Coronation Putting.

A whole range of payment levels and options are available depending on the activities residents want to take part in and their own personal financial circumstances.

It offers something for everyone - whatever their lifestyle, and whatever they want to pay out - to make best use of the amenities.

Pierre Oxley, Portfolio Holder for Leisure at TDC, said it was a major innovation for the Council and would benefit those wanting to improve their health and fitness.

"People really can get more for less when they visit any of the Council's leisure facilities," he said. "They can pay on the day or take advantage of a ONE Card activity package which is payable monthly or a year in advance."

The ONE Card was officially launched on April 1 and there has already been a great deal of interest in the new scheme.

Anyone wanting more information should pick up a brochure and application form from their nearest leisure centre in Tendring.

The brochure and application form are also available here.
