Don't miss out of the chance to put your knowledge to the
test and raise money for worthy causes.
Tendring District Council Chairman's charity quiz is being
staged later this month - and all entries are welcome.
So far 18 teams are getting ready to put their thinking caps on
but there is plenty of room for more to take part at the Princes
Theatre, Clacton, on Friday November 28.
Quizmaster Adrian Robinson from Clacton Lions will be posing the
questions and it promises to be a fun event.
All monies raised will go to the Chairman's Charity Fund and the
beneficiaries this year are Essex Air Ambulance, Clacton Family
Support and Tendring Young Persons Epilepsy Support.
"It's a chance to get together with friends, family or work
colleagues and pit your wits against others," said TDC Chairman Roy
Smith.
"I am hoping there will be an excellent turnout so we can boost
funds for these very worthwhile causes."
The cost is £3 per person with a maximum of six people per team.
There will be a licensed bar, raffle and prizes for the winners.
Doors open at 7.30pm.
Tables can be booked by contacting Janice Stapleton on 01255
