Regeneration Services
The Regeneration section focuses on the economic and social
regeneration of the District. It works with a range of partners in
both the public and private sectors to provide a rich environment
for investment, employment, enterprise and tourism
opportunities.
To achieve this Regeneration has seven areas of activity;
Neighbourhood Management;
Inward
Investment, Supporting
Business, Developing Skills and the Labour Market,
Rural Economy, Infrastructure and
Haven
Gateway.
Community Services
The Community service section liaises with the public and various
statutory and voluntary organisations on community issues,
co-ordination and development of projects and advice and grant
assistance to local bodies.
Community Services is also responsible for
crime and
disorder reduction and community safety issues, youth issues,
anti-social
behaviour, Tendring Youth
Assembly and
Tendring Virtual Youth
Centre website.
Careline,
CCTV, warden services
within sheltered housing and the promotion of cultural and
educational relationships in Europe are also part of the
service.
