Foreword of the Executive Leader

"Welcome to our on-line Corporate Plan designed to be a simple signposting tool providing you with access to information about:

  • what priorities the Council hopes to achieve,
  • why we feel it is important to achieve them.

We think it is important that we make the information contained within our Corporate Plan as widely available as possible, and that this information is updated on a regular basis. For that reason, we have decided to publish our plan on-line, a less costly and more environmentally friendly approach.

For those homes without access to the internet, free use is available at libraries; however, if you would like to be sent any of the information contained within the Corporate Plan, or require an alternative format, please don't hesitate to contact us and we shall do our very best to help.

I hope you find the plan simple to use and informative and, as always, we shall welcome any feedback or thoughts for future improvements."
