Tendring Crucial Crew is an annual event organised by Tendring
Community Safety Partnership in conjunction with Tendring District
Council and provides the opportunity for all 10 to 11 year olds in
the district to learn the important lessons on how to keep
themselves safe and healthy.
The last Crucial Crew event was held at Valley Farm Holiday
Park, Clacton-on-Sea, from the 14th to the 24th of November 2011.
The event was very successful and over 1,200 Year 6 pupils from 35
Primary Schools in the district learned some crucial lessons.
The organisations involved in the delivery of this year's
Tendring Crucial Crew were:
- Tendring Community Safety Partnership,
- Tendring District Council,
- Essex County Council Road Safety team,
- Essex County Council Student Behaviour team,
- North East Essex PCT Stop Smoking service,
- Essex Police,
- Essex Young People Drug and Alcohol service (EYPDAS),
- Essex Fire and Rescue service,
- RNLI,
- Teentalk,
- The British Red Cross.
