Crucial Crew is a personal health and safety event
for all year six pupils in the Tendring District
The event was organised by Tendring District
Council on behalf of the Tendring Crime and Disorder Reduction
Partnership, while other statutory and private organisations in the
district provided scenarios which taught children lessons in
important subjects including safety in the home, on the road, near
electricity and the dangers of alcohol.
Crucial Crew is an excellent example of a
partnership approach within the local community to ensure the well
being and safety of the children of Tendring.
The Crucial Crew event is a wonderful opportunity
to help develop young people's judgement, decision making and risk
assessment, and the various scenarios are designed to build their
confidence and raise their self-esteem.
Tendring Crucial Crew online is intended to
compliment the Crucial Crew event. It will supplement the wide
range of educational activities that focus on developing skills,
abilities and attitudes.
