The Tendring District Council Children and
Young People Strategy is the successor to the Tendring Youth
Strategy 2003-2006 and sets out that Tendring District Council
intends to work with 0-19 year olds in the District over the next
three years to improve the quality of their lives.
To identify the key issues in the District and understand the
Council's role in safeguarding and promoting the well-being of
children and young people, the Strategy includes details of the
developing national youth agenda and established local priorities.
The Tendring Children and Young People's Strategic Partnership has
identified areas for concern and suggestions for service
improvement through consultation with children, young people and
local service providers. The Tendring District Council Children and
Young People Strategy seeks to address the areas of concern that
the Council can have an impact on, whether through cross-service or
partnership working.
